Fleet Foxes - Helplessness Blues
I posted this already in the Music Exposure thread, but just in case anyone missed it, here's a little overkill.

Fleet Foxes - Helplessness Blues
2011
Indie Folk

That's right, folks. It's here. The time has come. You can all be glad to be alive again.

Okay, the above may be a bit of an overstatement, considering that I don't know whether everyone around here listens to Fleet Foxes or not, but for all of you who do, you know what an amazing band they are. For those of you who don't, grab their Sun Giant EP and Self Title, then give this baby a spin. You'll thank yourself in the end. You will find such a soothing, inspiring, masterful, earthy, and epic sound waiting for you if you do.

For all of you who've already been acquainted with these fellas, let me tell you that Helplessness Blues has all the articulate beauty and irresistible draw that the self title had and then some. It's hard to hear at first, truth be told, but once you give the album a play through or two, you'll find that it may even surpass its incredible predecessor. The lyrics are taken a step further, the layers of sound are far more complex, and the harmonies leave nothing to be desired. One of my favorite albums in quite some time.

Anyway, I've gushed enough. Just grab it. It will make you love the world again~

FLEET FOXES!

Mystic Ark - The Translation is Complete!
Well, a translation anyway.

I don't know how many of you were as excited about this as I was, but the day has come. Us English-reading folks can finally play this classic that was unfortunately never localized when it originally was released.

I have to say, however, that I'm experiencing somewhat of a dilemma. While I'm certain that Dynamic Designs put a great amount of solid effort into their project, Gideon Zhi just announced that he'll be done with his own in a fairly short amount of time. Anyone that has played with any of his English patches know the kind of quality he injects into them. So I wonder, should I just wait?

Currently Playing: Nothing, yet.

There is something so satisifying...
About taking a hot shower after an evening of reckless drinking. I went through the night like a whirlwind that couldn't get enough of what it was sucking up. I drank the wine, the beer, the rum, and the whiskey. I'm entirely coherent, and ridiculously lucid, but my stomach begs to differ. So I take a scalding shower, and it feels so fine.

Here I am now, typing this here entry out. I have no reason to besides the fact that when I lay down, the world spins more than I do. You'd think I would learn after so many times, but this world keeps spinning.

Goodnight, GFF. I'm going to try to grab on to the morning hours and wrestle them into some sleep. I love you, and thanks for listening.

Currently Playing: Earthbound PSI Rockin' - High on Cofee

Backloggery AGAIN!
Just in case anyone missed mine somewhere down the line. Please feel free to add me to your friends list. It's nice to see the GFF community spreading so rapidly into this neat little thing.

I'm really into this site. I've always had a particular interest as to what other people may be playing. Blackloggery feeds right into this strange curiosity of mine. Hurray!

Currently Playing: Fleet Foxes - Ragged Wood
