Honestly, this crap SUCKs compared to the way nintendo did its TV ads back during the N64 days. Now they all consist of the same formula. Japanese dudes going to random houses or places and then it showing some goofy looking people swinging the wii-motes around like morons and then showing tiny bits of actual gameplay. What ever happened to the good sense of humor the ads had?

One thing I notice about black kids

Every time I go to a grocery store or a food place whenever the line gets held up it's usually because of black kids. For some reason after their transaction is completed they will stand there, stare at the receipt, double check and compare the amounts on there to the amounts on the menu, and then count their change to make sure they weren't cheated. Sometimes they'll ask or argue why it cost the amount it did. All while the rest of the line waits to check out. I've seen older Chinese people do this too, but they usually aren't as bad or at least move out of the way to double check that they didn't get ripped off 50 cents or whatever.

This happened again to me today at Panda Express. I was next in line to pay for my panda bowl but the line was being held up by this little black kid and his older sister. They were standing there comparing prices and blocking the rest of us from paying. So I reached over to hand the lady at the cash register my debit card since those kids were blocking it. As she charges it the older sister interupted and said:

"scuse me. Why did you charge me 80 more cent for my 2 item combo"

And then the lady tried to explain how they had to pay a little extra for a side or whatever. Then she would ask another question. Luckily I got my card back and was free to go. Everyone else behind me was still waiting to pay for their food as it was getting cold. If I were working the register I would call over the manager to assist them with their stupid questions which are probably explained on the menu so I could help everyone else.

My sister and her stance on meeting internet people.

So today I told her about my plans to visit Japan in June with a couple internet friends (Kairyu is supposed to be one of them) and she nearly flipped out. She ended up giving me a speech on how dangerous internet people can be and that going to a foreign country with people you know from the internet is incredibly stupid. I guess at age 22 I'm not old enough to tell who is a Sir VG or what's that guys face who stalks sass. I shouldn't go because Kairyu or Iwata will stab me in the back and torture my body in the middle of Japan where no one could save me. Just like when devo, Ed, kurado, and sakabadger gang-raped me when they came to visit me at my sisters house. xD

I was trying to calm her by saying that I've known these people for years and that we've played xboxlive and other video games multiple times and know they aren't 60 year old psycho killers out to get me. I remember when devo and gang did visit me that I told her they were all friends from High School so she wouldn't freak out and say I was putting her kids in danger for inviting internet friends over.

Oh man... My sister is too protective of me sometimes. :3

So where did you know me from again?

So this girl I used to play PSO with like 6 years ago added me as a friend to her facebook. Now I haven't made any contact with her for that long and now she comes out of the blue and said that we used to journey through ragol together. But still, I thought it was kind of neat to talk to her again. Especially since we've both grown out of our teen years since then.

Now that I think about it I must have still been on her AIM list and she searched for facebook friends through there and found mine.

Fullmetal Season 1 Part 1 DVD set confusion

So they're selling box sets of this. Since they are decently priced I figured it's about time I finally picked this up. I'm a bit confused though. On amazon the DVDs are listed as unrated which means they most likely aren't censored or anything:

So when I was at Best Buy I picked up to to buy it but before I actually paid for it I noticed it said "TVPG" on the box. So since its PG is it actually edited? How badly edited was this series? Are there uncut DVDs or is the show uncut and still rated PG? I remember the Japanese subbed versions I watched when it first came out being pretty damn violent so I would imagine an uncut version being at least PG-13. But if it's like super minor censorship I'll bite for that price.

Stupid cat

I kind of regret taking in my second cat, patches. At this point I'm fairly certain this kitten was taken away from her mother too soon. She never cleans herself. She doesn't always go to the bathroom in her litterbox. When she does go in the litterbox she never buries her poop. She just doesn't seem like she has had any training at all.

she hasn't went poop yet anywhere away from the litter box but she's been peeing on the stairs a lot lately. I can tell because it's starting to smell like piss and she always claws at it shortly after she's done. I've yelled at her for it multiple times too. I don't really know what else to do. I've made her sit in a perfectly 100% clean litterbox and yet she still seems to piss on my carpet. At this rate I'll have to have the carpet redone when I go to sell this condo.

I love the cat. I really do. She's one of the most affectionate cats I've ever seen. But at this point she's going to ruin my investment. April was never this much of a problem. She always goes in the litterbox. Even during those times it got really dirty because I haven't been home to clean it. But Patches just won't learn. Is it too late at this point to train her to do it? I've been keeping on her for awhile now but either I'm not doing something right or she just won't learn to piss in her litter box.

What would you experienced cat owners say I should do?

So I ditched comcast.

AT&T has a special deal going on right now where I can switch to them and get a 100 dollar check and a free month of service. So I get TV and Internet through them for about 50 dollars less a month. The internet is a tad bit slower but I have an ASSLOAD of channels for TV and a DVR. So I want to set it up to record cool shows but I need to know what's cool first. I basically get everything but cinemax and HBO. Any ideas? Hmmm?????

Goddammit

I've been having a bad week. Yesterday my car battery was failing. Couldn't get my car to start that morning and ended up 30 minutes late to work. After work I had to buy a replacement (bye bye 80 dollars) to prevent the problem again. Then I had to swap it out outside in the dark. Then I had to fight traffic and arrive 30 minutes late to class. Luckily my teacher let me do the quiz despite her rule that it can't be made up if you aren't present when it is handed out. And then I finally got home and crashed right away. Somehow during that time I lost my access card and didn't notice until this morning.

This morning I was franticly searching for the bloody thing but of course ran the risk of being late again. Couldn't find it, so I said hell with it and borrowed a visitor pass for the day. I figured after work I would have plenty of time to find it. And here I am now... no trace of it. This sucks. They don't like it when employees lose security cards. Even though we don't have our logo or anything on it they claim it's still a huge risk having someone gain unauthorized access with it. With my tardiness on top of the loss of my security card I can see this hurting my first year review next week.

Not too happy with myself right now...

400 dollar donation.

Either he is incredibly insane or just plain stupid, or he's just got a lot of money to hand out. 400 dollars is an insane amount. He could buy a PS3. He could have donated it to some starving children. He could have bought himself an iphone or itouch. Instead he donated it to a money hungry fox. I do appreciate it though. This pays off another two months of GFF so it can be one less bill for me to worry about. Great timing too since Christmas always breaks my wallet.

Miles can't cook.

My boss from work bought me a recipe book since I told her how I always eat out or eat microwave dinners and oven pizzas all the time. I need to start cooking more anyway since I support myself 100% and need to save money. Especially since I pay the server bill out of my own pocket now since donation money ran out. Bill+1 =p

This morning I made scrambled eggs and french toast. Those turned out ok. Tonight I made burritos. I messed up on a few things here.

1. I overcooked the turkey meat. It tasted pretty dry and had little flavor. I think my paranoia of accidentally not cooking meat all the way scares me into cooking it too long. I should probably turn the burner off as soon as every bit of pink is gone. Also, should I cook this on high or medium heat?

2. I put way too much seasoning on the meat. Especially the spicy stuff. So besides the meat tasting dry and flavorless it was also way too spciy. I'm not sure of how much of each spice I should put on exactly.

3. The tomatoes were hard. Probably since I have no clue how I'm supposed to pick tomatoes at the store. I want them to by juicy and what not. Maybe I'm supposed feel which ones are heavier? I don't know.

4. I made the meat first. so by the time I finished prepping everything else the meat tasted cold.

I have a lot of room for improvement. Cooking does make me miss the days of when I lived with my sister. Her and her husband made some of the best homemade dinners. I should have learned from them instead of playing video games all the time.

I also should start freezing some of my meat. Sometimes it goes bad before I get around to eating it.

Any other advise you guys want to give this poor soul I'll take. ;_;
