Hyrule has a gym.
So I went to my sister's middle school award ceremony, which happened to be at my old middle school. I never really cared to much for the school though. It was pretty bland, and not very original. However, there was this lady that drew all the logo's for the new schools in our district including this one. I never liked our logo. Sure, other schools get wicked yetis, roaring lions, but what do we get? Some gay ass celtic. Upon my return this afternoon, I noticed that this Kelly person was back at work, and drew a mural all across the wall of the gym. This really made me laugh. I saw it and thought of GFF right away. In a twisted way, the lady seemed to have incorperated the celtic in to a Zelda/Hyrule theme. Here are some pictures I took:

The original Celtic character on the right, along wtih "Link" (holding a bat.)

The man of the hour. Even the costumes match. *cough* Rip off! *cough*

Here we have Link's rarely heard about twin sister, about to get sessioned by a dragon.

When they aren't out saving the princess, the kids need a place to blow off some steam. Throw a football, spin a basketball, and what the hell, even badminton does the jorb.

And finally, the Canadian exchange student, bearing his mistic-smoke covered hockey stick.

I'm leaving tomorow night for London, Ontario to play in the National Youth Orchestra of Canada as well. I guess I better start packing soon

Pirates + metal = awesome.
Response to: (Deleted Entry)

Try these guys on for size. This new scottish pirate metal band...yes..pirate..have two albums "Terror on the High Seas" and the self titled album "Battleheart". Both albums are available for download off their site.

They have an amazing and unique style, combined with good old blast beat drumming and shredding guitar licks.

Finally, you can't be a pirate metal band without including your own version of "Pirates of the Caribbean". This lick can be heard in their song "No Quarters". Enjoy, Metalheads.

Damn, I thought I was legal age...
Ok, so me and my friend had a spare block today, and always thought it would be a funny idea to buy a porno mag and put it on the magazine rack in our school library. Lame?...maybe, but what the hell... we only have 2 weeks of school left.

We've been meaning to do it for a while, so today we motored on down to the local 7-11, and picked up the newest Playboy edition and an energy drink and went to the counter. As expected the lady asked for our ID, but my friend forgot his, and he's the one who's 18. Knowing i'd fail anyways, I showed her my driver's license only to be rejected as well. She was about to put the magazine back when another one of my friends walked in. He was 18, so i figured he could buy it for us, but the lady still refused, insisting that the age was 19. I couldn't believe it. I thought the legal age to buy porn was 18, but she may have just lied to prevent my friend from buying it and just giving it to us in the end.

O well...there's always next week, and hopefully not a bitchy lady at the counter.

Shaving cream and a razor.
Grad. It's coming fast. Two more days until the ceremony, and more importantly three days until the partaaaay. It's going to be sooooo dope. I will miss most of the people though (not you Free.User.) :P Just joshin' man.

A funny thing happened today though. I've been growing sideburns since december as a sort of grad project. My grad date hates them, so when i was walking to my locker after a spare block i saw a bottle of shaving cream and a razor taped to the door with PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SHAVE written all over the tape...on the locker beside mine. I lol'd. It's an extra slap in the face for her, becuase it's some girls locker that's going to think she's super sick ass hairy. Wow.

In addition, i stumbled across this funny video of Kobe pwning some kid at 1-on-1 for an adidas commercial.

Getting a little nervous...
The school talent show is tomorow, and I'm starting to stress about the piece I decided to play. It's "Tambourin Chinois" by Kreisler, and it's a bitch to play when you start to tighten up. I'm hoping that my accompanist can keep up as well. He's extremely good, but his age may slow his dexterity down a bit.

On a side note, I started an "album art" avatar/sig week, in the hopes that no one has done one yet. Seeing as there's so many different artists and albums out there, it should have lots of potential (duh! ). Check it out!

My Brain is Fried.
Holy crap! That was one hell of a day. I had three tests today, out of four classes (my school's on semester), one after another. It's the final week of term three, so all my teachers are cramming in last minute tests and midterms. First, I had to butcher through a chemistry mid term, then a biology unit test on digesting (pwned), and what better to end the day with than a unit test in English on "1984". The book was not my favourite, and the test included two 6-mark paragraph answers and a 12 mark essay :P It may not sound so bad to all you university guys, but it isn't common to do that many tests in one day in high school. Eventually, i'll man up and learn to take the pain.

I'm looking foreward to chilling out and watching a baseball game before having to play in the pit band for the 5th showing of "Music Man" tonight. Three more performances left 'till paycheck

I'm off to NYO!
I did it! I made the National Youth Orchestra of Canada! I checked the site today after school and it definitely made my day. I guess this means I spend 3/4 of my summer in Toronto at the University of Western Ontario. After a few weeks of training, it's off to tour western Canada! It's going to be one hell of an experience.

There's one thing for sure: My graduation present has to be a plane ticket.

300!!
Title says it all! Going with my buds (including gffer's Free.User and J-Man) to the first showing tonight at seven. Originally we were going to drive 2 hours to another city to watch it (only in select theaters) but it was announced that it was showing in my town. It's going to be a night filled with unecessary gore and total awesomeness.
