Audiosurf Competition? |
|
|
NINJA MONO ONLY. IRONMODE ON.
So, I was playing Audiosurf the other day, and began to think about how to make it a casual (lol casualfags) competition.
What I came up with was:
A song is selected to be played for the week. To avoid the differences that occur in how the tracks are generated, a download will be provided for a common rip of the song. This is so everyone has the same track generated (thus making it "fair.")
You will have the week to get the highest score possible, using any character, in any difficulty, ironmode on or off. (Before anyone says anything, yes it is possible for the mono classes to get scores higher than even the elite classes.)
When you want to submit your score, all you have to do is take a screenshot of the end results, highlighting your score, with the popup of the graph showing, and then post it. You are allowed to submit as often as you want, as long as it is before the deadline for the week. If you have already done the song before (the competition,) that score cannot be submitted (you'll just have to try and beat your own score!)
When the week is up, the person with the highest score is the winner. The winner then posts the song to be played for the next week, where it all starts over again.
Anyone is allowed to join in at any time and submit a score. You do not have to participate in every week. The only grounds for disqualification is cheating (through hacking, retagging a song, etc.)
How does this sound?
