Holloween Candy Review |

Reese's Cups
I really hate non-crunchy peanut butter. I also hate really impressionistic foods, that is, food-like substances that try and pretend to be the real thing. As a kid, I hated these. Peanut-butter outside of a sandwich was sac-relig (to use an obnoxious phrase). However I loved chocolate and like any kid on Halloween, I had no control over what people were giving strange children running around on the streets begging for candy.
When I'd get home, before my mother confiscated and hid my candy of course, I'd chow down on the good stuff then get desperate and start opening the Reese's. I wouldn't just bite them, you see, I'd nibble off the hard chocolate around the rim of the cups. It was tolerable, maybe even good. Then I'd close my eyes and choke down the "peanut-butter" as to not waste anything. I hate waste.
Nowadays I still eat them like this, but I don't hate the peanut-butter. I just tolerate it.
